Anberlin
Several guys came together from different bands, including a gospel punk rock band, to form this rocking outfit! Soaring vocals and heavy guitars are what they are all about. They are on the harder side of rock most of the time (but not too heavy) and you may feel their stuff is monotonous on first listen, but dont forget to take that second listen. Notice the different melodies that make each track stand out.
They presented an alternative pop/rock sound that, while inflected with the earnestness of emo, was closer to the mature stylings of Third Eye Blind.
These indie rockers have the albums ‘Blueprints For The Black Market’ and ‘Never Take Friendship Personal’ with tracks like ‘Autobahn’, ‘Amsterdam’ and ‘Foreign Language’ to their name, check ‘em out. Anberlin’s for the rocker in you!
